Balasubramanian in 195, Palace Road, Thambi Medical Mart emerged as a prominent retail destination from medications to sutures, oxygen cylinders, and other essential items, customers found everything under one roof. Even in those days, we provided 24/7 service. Later, it expanded its retail presence by building two more pharmacies, one in Anna Nagar's Shenbagam Hospital and the other in Dr. Manorama's Sumathi Hospital.
Phase 2
Mr. Babu was tremendously motivated to become successful by offering speciality medicines, inspired by his father's service. He dedicated his efforts towards providing exceptional care across numerous departments, encompassing cardiology, nephrology, gynaecology, oncology, orthopaedics, and various other specialized disciplines. Currently dealing with products from 32 international pharmaceutical companies successfully in Tamil Nadu, as an authorized stockist.
Phase 3
Transitioned in 2013 with the launch of Thambi Medicals Global Drug House at 30-C, Melur Road, KK Nagar, with highly efficient Cold Storage, Reception, Account & Billing departments,and Store rooms. The reason for the transition is because of this location, since it is near all these multispeciality hospitals like Apollo Hospital, Velammal Hospital, Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Vadamalayan Hospital, and Shenbagam Hospital. Currently we have 2000+ clients.
Against Corona Virus
In 2019, we were aware of the coronavirus pandemic and the impact it had created. We made sure that our drugs were sold at their regular prices without any high margin by taking advantage of the situation. Our excellent delivery service made sure that the medication arrived on schedule. Additionally, we offered our services around-the-clock to our clientele. Our delivery personnel used protective gear and followed hygienic delivery procedure. In urgent instances, we also provided medicines directly to COVID wards in hospitals. We also supplied Remdesivir injections, which were on high demand and crucial for treating COVID patients.
